Newfangled Ways to Look for Work

In: TW

I’ve been playing around with Twitter for the last few weeks, seeing if I can leverage it in my quest for freelance technical writing work. It’s been an interesting experiment, as there are many tools out there that you can use besides just using Twitter by itself. The tool I like best so far is search.twitter.com. It lets you search for tweets with all sorts of keywords. Very cool.

Of course if you look at my current lists of tweets you’ll see I actually haven’t tweeted in a while. *oops* Work has been rather trying these last few weeks, so I haven’t had much time to tweet. I’m hoping to rectify that in the next while. Stay tuned.

But what other networking tools are you using to find freelance work? Twitter? Tumblr?
