It’s the new year. Have you already made your content marketing plans for the year? No? Phew, me neither. I have all these grand plans of sitting down and planning out what I’d like to accomplish this year, but it just never happens. It rarely happens any year, so I’m not that worried about it. 🙂
That said, it doesn’t mean I won’t keep trying. I think I’m going to try something a little different this year and simply plan out each quarter of the year at the start of each quarter. That way it won’t seem so overwhelming and I’ll hopefully get more things done. So without further ado, here goes.
Julia’s Q1 Plan
- Write up a blog editorial calendar so I post a little more frequently. I know I’ve been very remiss about that lately, so it’s time to get back to it.
- Decide on an eBook topic. I’ve been meaning to write one forever, so this will help me narrow things down and focus.
- Develop a better method to convert social media followers and conversations into business leads. I’ve got a great following on Twitter and it grows every day, however, I’d like to focus on converting more of those conversations into leads (and eventually), paying clients.
There, I think that’s good for the next three months, don’t you? What are your plans for the year? Are you as daunted by the idea of planning for the next 12 months as I am? What are you doing instead? Share in the comments as I’d love to hear about it.
